Wyrd Fest, the travelling weird punk/diy/underground music festival put on by Weird Canada (who were recently named Canada’s best music website by CBC Radio 3) are bringing their show to Montreal this summer for the first time!
The Montreal edition will take place on June 20th at La Sala Rossa as a co-production with experimental music festival Suoni per il Popolo.
It’s guaranteed to be a great night with 11 bands alternating between two stages (one on the floor, built specifically for the event), a taco truck parked outside, and a Mega Merch Bazaar where Fixture will be selling records, alongside many other small Canadian labels.
»Visit Weird Canada to check out the list of participating labels, browse the full band line-up, which includes Lantern (mem. Omon Ra) and Hobo Expanding Cult Band (a one-off collaboration by Hobo Cubes, Femminieli, JLK, Sundrips, and Element Kuuda), and order tickets online.
